If Shade Primary School is forced to close as a result of snowfall, Pulse Radio and Big AM will carry notification messages on their Breakfast Shows. In addition, the school answer-phone will carry a pre-recorded message for all callers and the school website will be updated with the latest information.
The frequencies of the Pulse Radio and Big AM are:
Pulse FM 102.5 FM
Big AM 1530 MW

If the weather is being beautiful and white
And lots of snow came down overnight
To let you know if we are closed
What can we do, the question is posed.
To make it simple, and so everybody knows
Here's what we will do if we're going to close.
We'll put an announcement on Pulse Radio and Classic Gold
If it's snowing they will have been told
All through the breakfast show they will let you know
If we are closed because of the snow.
